History of the airlines

Korean Air was established by the South Korean Government in the year 1962 by the name of Korean Air Lines to replace the pre-existing Korean National Airlines. First international passenger flight was introduced in the year 1971 which flew to Los Angeles International Airport. In 1973, it introduced its services for the European region, starting with Paris in France. In 1975, it became one of the first Asian airlines to operate Airbus aircraft. In 2013, Korean Air bought a 44% stake in Czech Airlines only to sell it later in the year October 2017. Korean Air Airline code is KE.
