Check-in Baggage

• Domestic Flights - For passengers travelling Shenzhen Airlines on the domestic flights within mainland China, baggage allowance is decided based on the class of travel. Passengers travelling on First Class are allowed 40kgs of check-in luggage, Business class passengers are allowed 30kgs of check-in luggage and economy class passengers are allowed 20kgs. If the Passenger is a Star Alliance Gold Member or a student with a valid student ID, he/she is allowed 20kgs of extra luggage.

• International Flights - Passengers travelling on the international flights operated by Shenzhen Airlines can carry two pieces of check-in luggage, 32 kgs each are allowed on both first and business class. Passengers who have booked flight tickets at economy class can carry one check-in bag, not exceeding 23kgs in weight.

Passengers travelling on domestic routes are required to be present at the Airport - 90 minutes prior to departure - with a valid ID and photograph of the passenger. A buffer time of 3 hours is recommended for international travel, to avoid risks of missing the flight due to long lines at Shenzhen Airlines check-in halls and security and immigration procedures.

• Self-Check-in: Shenzhen Airlines Kiosk is available at certain airports for the passengers who wish to check-in on their own. Passengers can use this mode to select the seat desired and get the print of the boarding pass at the airport.
• Online web check-in: Passengers can check-in using the option can get the boarding pass of the Shenzhen airlines flight ticket that is booked earlier. The passengers would be required to carry a printed copy of their e-boarding pass for verification at the counter and baggage drop-off if any.
