• Business Class - For Business Class flyers, 30kg of checked baggage is allowed, and the flyers can purchase up to an additional 10 kg of checked baggage allowance.
• Jetstar Asia Airways allows a maximum baggage weight of 40 kg per passenger.
• Passengers are allowed to carry certain things like a pram, portable cot, high chair and a car seat, if the passenger is flying with an infant, for free as checked baggage.

• Web check-in - Jetstar Asia Airways web check-in facility is available for all, except if:

This facility is easy, fast and free. Passengers can check-in online from 48 hours to one hour before the scheduled departure time.

• Kiosk check-in - Jetstar Asia Kiosk facility is available for Australia, New Zealand or Jetstar Japan (GK) domestic flight or through certain selected Jetstar Asia (3K) flights out of Singapore. The boarding pass can be printed at one of Jetstar Asia kiosks along with baggage tags.

It was launched in the year 2004 and finally took off in November 2004 after it received its Air Operator’s Certificate from the Singapore government. The Airways announced seven routes to begin with, which flew to Manila, Pattaya, Taipei, Jakarta, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Surabaya.
