Incorporated on March 6, 1964, Air Saint-Pierre was established by Albert Briand. The services commenced in the month of June that year with the Eastern Provincial Airways. This allowed the code sharing of the airline with Douglas DC-3 between Sydney and Saint-Pierre. Eventually, the code sharing got terminated in the month of October. Air Saint-Pierre soon started off conducting the charter flights with Piper Aztec. Air Saint-Pierre continued its cooperation with the Eastern Provincial Airways. The route from Sydney to Saint-Pierre resumed under the operation of the airline in the year 1971. In the year, a Piper Chieftain was bought along with the signing in of the maintenance contract with Fundy Aviation. In the year 1986, the HS 748 came with the same model but with modifications.
