Cabin Baggage: According to the Air Niugini baggage policy, the cabin baggage allowance for the economy class and business class is 10 Kg for a passenger. If the Air Niugini baggage weight is exceeded, then the airline charges extra bucks for the extra weight carried for transporting. As far as Air Niugini check-in baggage size is concerned, the total dimension or size of the baggage should not exceed 115 cm. The items which are prohibited by the government or the law policies must never be included in the baggage. Apart from that, a fully collapsible wheelchair or a pair of crutches would be included in the additional free baggage.
Checked Baggage: The checked baggage allowance varies according to the class of travel. No single baggage or item should not exceed the maximum of 32 Kg. Air Niugini baggage for checked baggage in domestic flights for Executive Club Members is 29 Kg and for Economy Class, it is 16 Kg. Contrarily, for the Executive Club Members, it is 25 kg. The maximum baggage size of one piece of the checked baggage should not be greater than 158 cm (L+W+H). For all major international routes, the check-in baggage allowance in Economy Class is 30 Kg and 35 Kg for Executive Club members. In Business class, it is 40 Kg and for Executive Club members the allowance is 45 Kg.
