On September 24th, Prime Minister Modi flagged off 9 new Vande Bharat trains in 11 states, including Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, and others. As of now, 25 Vande Bharat trains are operational. With the addition of these nine new high-speed express trains, the overall count of Vande Bharat trains will reach 34.
The newly-launched trains will play an essential role in boosting tourism and connectivity across the country. It aims to cut down on commute time.
