For the ones who have booked the Economy Light tickets are licensed to bring their baggage out of charge only when they have registered as a member of a EuroBonus Silver, Gold or Diamond Status. As per the baggage policy, Wideroe Airlines check-in baggage size for the bag should not exceed the maximum dimension of 158 cm. If it exceeds the measure, then passengers have to pay the excess fee. Wideroe Airlines baggage weight fixed for checked baggage should not exceed 23 kg.
According to the policies of the Wideroe Airlines baggage, the larger baggage fee depends upon the excess weight that passengers are carrying. While the first one was company Lotsberg & Skappel, the other one is Widerøe & Bjørneby which has been established by Halvor Bjørneby and ViggoWiderøe. In the year 1948, the company merged with Narvik-based Polarfly, and that is how the name changed into Widerøe's Flyveselskap & Polarfly A/S. Next year, the company started an aerial photography operation. And later in 1953, Wideroe Airlines chose to differentiate and initiated in manufacturing emergency rafts. On behalf of SAS, the company began an international service in the year 1980.
