Cabin Baggage for domestic flights - The passengers of GoAir can carry one bag or purse or laptop as cabin baggage. The luggage carried by the passengers should not exceed the permitted GoAir baggage weight and dimension. GoAir baggage size for cabin baggage is 115 cm totally including the length, width and height. The maximum weight of 7 kg is permitted to be carried as Cabin Baggage. The baggage exceeding the size and weight will be charged extra as per the baggage policy.

Check-in Baggage for domestic flights - According to the GoAir baggage policy, the checked baggage dimension should not be more than 158 cm and weight of 42 kg. Any single baggage exceeding the weight of 42 kg is not accepted by the airlines. If the passenger carries any baggage exceeding the permitted weight or dimension, then additional charges will be levied.

Web check-in: GoAir airlines web check-in is available for the passengers who have booked their air ticket online. The passengers can do online check-in 72 hours before departure using the PNR and details like the last name or e-mail ID of the passenger.

Priority check-in: If the passenger feels difficult to check-in online then they can do priority counter check-in. This service is available for only first 10 customers on each flight and available for the cities of Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Goa, Chennai, Port Blair and Guwahati. For counter based priority check-in the passenger must pay Rs 400.

During 2009, British Airways decided to buy this airline, but GoAir tried to merge with Spice Jet, but this ended with no deal.
