Cabin Baggage - Garuda Indonesia cabin baggage for all domestic or international passengers is single luggage with or without a laptop bag. The maximum weight of all carryon luggage should not exceed 7 kgs. The dimensions of the cabin baggage for domestic and international flights should not be more than 56 cms X 36 cms X 23 cms or the sum of all dimensions should not exceed 115 cms. Only for the economy class of CRJ and ATR aircraft, the dimensions of the cabin baggage should not be more than 41 cms X 34 cms X 17 cms or sum of all dimensions should not exceed 92 cms.

Domestic flights: Passengers who have booked air tickets for Economy class can carry a maximum of 20 Kg. For Business Class and First class, the Garuda Indonesia baggage weight allowed is 30 Kg and 40 Kg respectively.

International flights: According to the baggage policy, Garuda Indonesia check-in baggage allowed on the international flights is 50 Kg maximum for passengers who have booked flight tickets on First Class. For Business Class and Economy Class, the maximum weight allowed is 40 Kg and 30 Kg respectively. Irrespective of the number of baggage, any single luggage weighing more than 32 Kgs will not be accepted for check-in.

Web Check-in: The passengers can use the Garuda Indonesia web check-in facility to check-in and select the desired seat for the travel. They can also print their boarding pass from the comfort of their home or office. The web check-in for domestic flights can be done between 24 hours to two hours before the departure time. For international flights, check-in starts 24 hours and ends 4 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure.

Airport check-in: The passengers can check in at the airport check-in counters. The check-in baggage can be dropped and the boarding pass can be collected from the same. There are separate counters for Economy class passenger and Business class passenger.

Mobile check-in: This is one of the methods to check-in and select the desired seat. The boarding pass will be sent to the registered Email ID of the passenger. Booking reference ID is needed to process the mobile check-in.
