The story of the place is about a magician who fell in love with the local princess of the area even though their match was impossible. He cast a dark magic on here to surrender her to him, but she found out and killed him. Before dying however, he cast a spell on the entire village.

Kuldhara, Rajasthan

Popularly known as the deserted ghost village, it is abandoned since 1800s. It is said to carry a curse of the villagers who vanished from here overnight. The village lies in ruins, established in 1291 by the Paliwal Brahmins. It has been said that one night in 1825 all the people in Kuldhara and nearby 83 villages vanished in dark. This happened all of a sudden. It is said they had cast a spell on this village as well. This place has been inhabited since then!

This is a lovely spot during the day, as it’s full of trees and greenery. However, during the night people are scared to come this side as a woman clad in white haunts this place. Many people have supposedly seen this woman on the side of the road asking for a ride, the people who stopped to give her a ride were never seen again! The people who don’t stop have seen her running along with the car’s speed till the roads end. Spooky indeed.

Shaniwarwada, Pune

Forts look scary at night anyway, but this fort has a deadly story to it as well! It is believed that the fort sees some paranormal activities on a full moon night! The story behind this is that a young prince was brutally murdered here and his spirit haunts the place. When the night falls, sounds of his shrieking can be heard. This fort is completely deserted at night.

Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad

One of the largest film studio complexes, Ramoji film studios is also home to various spirits. Built on a battlefield, Ramoji is said to be surrounded by ghosts of dead soldiers! There have been sightings of spirits and odd behaviour like lights falling on the crew, food being scattered around, girls’ clothes being torn off.
