SpiceJet Launching New Domestic Flights

Budget airline carrier SpiceJet announces 20 new domestic flights with most of the flights operating from Mumbai to cities that include Vijayawada, Tirupati, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati next week. The airlines announced that the flights would be launched between May 26th and May 30th.

Other flights that would operate at increased frequencies includes the routes Mumbai-Kochi, Mumbai-Goa, Mumbai-Patna, Mumbai-Hyderabad, Mumbai-Kanpur and Mumbai-Kolkata. All the new flights are to be operated daily, except for the route Mumbai-Kolkata which will not be operating on Wednesdays and Sundays, say the sources.

With the launch of these new flights, the passengers from cities like Tirupati, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata and Vijayawada would find it easier to commute to other cities in India. Since April, SpiceJet has launched over 100 new flights that operate between domestic and international routes.

The new flights from Mumbai would be replacing the Jet Airways flights which had ceased operations in April 2019. Hence, all these flights are to depart from Terminal 2 from Mumbai airport.
