Indian Railways To Upgrade 1st AC Coaches of 7 Trains

After two successful projects, Project Utkrisht and Operation Swarn, the Indian Railways is all set for its next mission of upgrading the 1st AC coaches of trains. The upgrading of the 1st AC coaches of 7 trains has been initiated, and the Kashi Vishwanath Express has been the first train to undergo a transformation of  its interiors to a better and luxurious one.

The newly added features in the renovated coaches include beautifully done bathrooms with an option to take a shower, elegant curtains, anti-graffiti vinyl wrapping interiors, new berth cushions and installation of fire extinguishers among the rest.

The other trains that would be undergoing the upgrade of 1st AC coaches have not been revealed by the authorities of the Railway ministry. After having brought a positive impact on the interiors and exteriors of the trains with Project Utkrisht and Operation Swarn, the next mission of the Railway ministry is to enhance the train travelling experience of those who travel in 1st AC coaches.

With this project, the Indian Railways aims at improving the safety and comfort of the passengers travelling in the 1st AC coaches. More details of the project are yet to be revealed.
