If you had booked your flights on Paytm which got cancelled due to the Covid-19 impact, here’s some great news for you. Your money is safe in the form of Credit Shell, and you can use your available Credit Shell provided by the Indigo/Spicejet for your future flight ticket bookings.
This feature, which was originally only available on the airline platform, is now enabled on our website to ensure that the users have a hassle-free flight ticket booking experience with us. All the users who had received a refund on their flight ticket bookings can now use the balance amount for booking flight tickets on the Paytm platform.
What is Credit Shell?
Credit shell refers to the amount that is provided by specific airline operators against all the impacted bookings during the lockdown period. Currently, this feature is available for IndiGo and SpiceJet flight ticket bookings.
How to Redeem Your Credit Shell
Credit shell is valid for the next 12 months from the date of creation. Here’s how you can redeem your credit shell on your next flight ticket booking:
Step 1: Go to Paytm (desktop or mobile browser), and search for an IndiGo/SpiceJet flight based on your preferred date and time, and select the flight of your choice.
Step 2: After selecting the IndiGo/SpiceJet flight, click on “Use My Airline Credit”. Now you will be asked to enter your PNR number. Enter your PNR number here.
Step 3: Review the details of the flight ticket booking, and proceed to book.
Step 4: You will receive a confirmation once the ticket has been booked.
