Nani Daman Fort
This is a great fort located in Daman which has a true colonial charm. This fort will take you back to the time of colonial legacy of Portuguese rule. The Daman Nani Daman Fort encircles an area of 12,250 sq. meters. This fort has elegantly laid out high stone walls, there’s also a huge stature of St. Jerome and 2 gigantic human figures on both the sides of the gateway.
Devka Beach, Daman
One of the most spectacular beaches in India, the long shoreline of this beach has captivated many. There’s even an amusement park and musical fountain here which is also a great tourist attraction. Visit the destination with your family and enjoy a pony ride around the beach.
St. Thomas Church, Diu
After frolicking around the beaches, you must check out this architecturally-wonderful church. St Thomas Church is one such Church, though it is now transformed into a museum. There are wonderful wood carvings that can be found here. One of the most striking pieces here is a life-size carving of Christ in the Sepulchre. Completely donned in white, this Church is a sight to behold!
