The Delhi Airport has recently started offering Covid-19 testing facilities for all passengers who arrive at and depart from the airport. Earlier, only international passengers were provided with this facility on arrival.
Now both domestic and international passengers can take the Covid-19 test before departure and after arrival at the airport. The departing passengers who need to get the tests done can arrive at the airport 6 hours prior to the scheduled departure, and get the tests done by paying a cost of ₹2,400. The results would be out in 4 to 6 hours.
The Delhi International Airport has set up a Covid-19 sample collection booth in association with Genestrings Diagnostic Centre Pvt Ltd. 120 to 130 samples per hour can be collected at the airport’s collection booth. This facility has been introduced to ensure the safety of the passengers, and make travelling a better experience for those who arrive and depart from Delhi.
