Air India, as a part of the Vande Bharat mission, is to operate flights from various destinations in Europe and the USA. Recently, the leading national carrier had informed in a tweet that the flight bookings to these new flights would be open from July 18, 2020.
According to the sources, 180 new flights between India and the USA have been scheduled as per the mission. Flights would be operated from Indian destinations such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Ahmedabad to select destinations in the USA.
Several flights would operate between India and European destinations like Paris and Frankfurt. Currently, three weekly flights would be operated from Delhi to Paris on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays starting from July 23, 2020. Similarly, four weekly flights would start their operations between Delhi and Frankfurt from 25th July, 2020.
Bookings for the newly scheduled flights are available on the official website of Air India, other online sources and through authorised travel agents.
