Fira de Santa Llúcia, Barcelona

Positioned in front of Barcelona Cathedral, Fira de Santa Llúcia is the oldest fair  dedicated to Nativity scenes and Christmas traditions. This market features around 300 stalls selling everything from Christmas decorations, trees to musical instruments, handmade puppets and jewelry.

Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin

You will be spoilt for choice while looking at Christmas markets in Berlin. While you can pick a different market to explore each day of the 12-day festive season, a must visit on your list has to be Gendarmenmarkt. Market offers a wide range of quality products in great varieties for all. Night concerts make for a great end to every day too.
Gendarmenmarkt is, perhaps, the only Christmas market in the world that charges an entrance fee, but it is all going to be worth it once you have allowed yourself in.

Winter Wonders, Brussels

Vorosmarty Square, Budapest

Budapest has Christmas markets of small and big sizes which open around mid-November and close on 31st December every year. Of all the markets that are famous here, the award for the most beautiful & internationally acclaimed Christmas fair goes to the Christmas Market on Vorosmarty Square. It also happens to be the oldest market in the heart of the city.
Like all the happening places listed here, there is plenty to eat, drink and dance for everyone at Vörösmarty Square in the crazy days of December.

Frankfurt Christmas Market

Frankfurt Christmas market is a lovely traditional market in the middle of the town. With all the prettiness borrowed from giant Christmas tree, colorful lights, bells & ribbons, the market sees more than 3 million visitors every year with over 200 food stalls to keep them busy. Crowd here can be a concern on some other days of the year, but when its Christmas, who doesn’t like to be surrounded with people.
